CityLab 2016: Urban Solutions to Global Challenges
Presented by the Aspen Institute, The Atlantic, and Bloomberg Philanthropies, the fourth annual CityLab: Urban Solutions to Global Challenges will once again bring together more than 400 global city leaders — mayors, urban theorists and innovators, city planners, entrepreneurs, scholars, architects, and artists — for a series of conversations about urban ideas that are shaping the world’s metro centers.
Through a combination of sessions and field trips, the two-day summit explores urban issues including equity and affordable housing; economic development; the environment and sustainability; cultural investment; the use of data; public health and infrastructure; public spaces; urban mobility; and the intersection of public safety, privacy, and technology.
The inaugural CityLab 2013 was held in New York City; CityLab 2014 was held in Los Angeles, CA; and CityLab 2015 was held in London, England.
