In June 2016, the Aspen Health Strategy Group met for three days and took on hard questions related to the complex
and nuanced challenges around care at the end of life. We are pleased to present the final report from our work, based upon our group’s rich discussion. In the tradition of the thought-provoking conversations and dialogue on how to address critical societal issues — the hallmark of the Aspen Institute — the report includes five big ideas that will transform the way we provide end-of-life care.
