Join us on the evening of Thursday, December 10 for the Vanguard Chapter Holiday Party featuring Raj Vinnakota, the Aspen Institute’s first Executive Vice President for Youth & Engagement. Raj will lead a riveting conversation about the ways in which The Aspen Institute plans to work with youth more directly and also expand the reach and impact of the Institute’s work.
Raj was the co-founder and CEO of The SEED Foundation, a non-profit managing the nation’s first network of public, college-preparatory boarding schools for underserved children. For his work, Raj was an Ashoka Fellow, Echoing Green Fellow, and recipient of Oprah Winfrey’s “Use Your Life” Award. His new venture at the Aspen Institute will incorporate the use of the organization’s innovative leadership development model to foster youth leaders in underserved rural and urban communities, along with other entrepreneurial approaches to engage all youth in the issues of the day.
