Microenterprises, though small, can be a powerful force for creating jobs. On November 25, the Economic Opportunities Program and FIELD hosted the authors of three “Big Ideas for Jobs” papers, which highlighted the role microenterprises can play, and identified policies that can support the growth and creations of these small firms.
An extended panel of experts discussed what still needs to be done.
