Briefing – the Global Leaders Council for Reproductive Health RESOLVE AWARD
In May 2011, the Global Leaders Council for Reproductive Health announced The Resolve Award, an award celebrating country progress in accelerating access to reproductive health. Aspen Global Health and Development (GHD) is delighted to announce the two deadline rounds for The Global Leaders Council for Reproductive Health Resolve Award nominations, December 20, 2011, and January 15, 2012. This highly competitive, non-monetary award is designed to honor innovative and scalable approaches in accelerating progress toward universal access to reproductive health. The Council welcomes submissions from governments, civil society organizations, and academic institutions nominating specific countries for the implementation of best practices that lead the way in advancing access to reproductive health. Winners of the Resolve Award will be honored by the Council in a special ceremony on May 23, 2012 at the time of the World Health Assembly.
