Christian Devers is a Program Manager with the Aspen Conference Services team, and she also serves as the Director of the Resnick Aspen Action Youth Forum. Christian has supported and continues to assist with logistics for numerous and various Aspen Institute programs such as The Opportunity Youth Forum (Aspen, Boston, Seattle, Philadelphia & Virtual 2020), The Collective Impact Convening (Seattle, Boston, Austin, Chicago, & Virtual 2020), The Aspen Security Forum, CityLab Detroit, The Aspen Ideas Festival, Ideas Abu Dhabi and The Criminal Justice Reform Initiative.
As Director of the Youth Action Forum, Christian leads operations for the program of global youth (ages 10-18) who participate in text-based seminars, action workshops, and intergenerational dialogues in order to develop their leadership skills and contemplate how they can be positive contributing members in their communities.
Prior to joining the Aspen Institute, Christian enjoyed teaching at the pre-school, middle school, high school and collegiate levels. She completed her doctoral hours in Curriculum & Instruction at Loyola University Chicago. Additionally, Christian earned a M.Ed. in Secondary Education and a B.S. in Secondary Education/History Major from Vanderbilt University. She is based in Aspen, Colorado.
