Justice & Society Seminar

*This event is by invitation only.

Every summer the Justice & Society Seminar, co-founded by the late Supreme Court Justice Harry A. Blackmun and held in Aspen, CO, brings together individuals from diverse backgrounds to discuss what we mean by justice and how a just society ought to structure its legal, judicial, and political institutions.

Roundtable discussions are led by two distinguished and experienced moderators: a judge and a professor of law or political theory. This year’s Seminar moderators are Dr. Sanford Levinson, W. St. John Garwood and W. St. John Garwood, Jr. Centennial Chair in Law at the University of Texas at Austin; and Hon. Deanell Tacha, Duane and Kelly Roberts Dean and Professor of Law at Pepperdine University School of Law.

Seminar participants are distinguished individuals chosen from a variety of fields who bring a wealth of personal and professional experience to the discussion. Click here for more information about the seminar.
