Independence Day Ceremony

The gravesite of Declaration of Independence signer, William Paca, and formal gardens of Houghton House serve as the backdrop for celebrating Independence Day at the Aspen Institute’s Wye River campus.

The keynote presentation, “Becoming U.S. – Values, Choices and the Formation of a Nation” will be given by Robert Forloney, Adjunct Professor at Goucher College, and former director of the Breene M. Kerr Center for Chesapeake Studies at the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum.
