Eileana Gudiño has spent the last seven years working at Valley of the Sun United Way (VSUW), where she works to ensure children and youth succeed in Maricopa County. In her current role as Community Development and Engagement Director, she oversees the funding allocations that are distributed to the community as well as key initiatives in education. More recently, she is working to learn more about workforce development in order to continue engaging and supporting the Maricopa community. Prior to joining VSUW, Eileana worked in the early childhood field, where her main focus was to increase the quality of early education and empower families to become their children’s first teacher. Eileana graduated from Arizona State University with a master’s degree in social work with a focus on policy, administration and community practice.
