The Aspen Institute

Jean-Luc Allavena, Chairman of the Board of the Aspen Institute France, was promoted to an Officer in the French National Order of the Legion of Honour by President Emmanuel Macron. The ceremony, chaired by Mrs. Christine Lagarde, President of the European Central Bank, in the presence of H.S.H Prince Albert II of Monaco, took place on March 28, 2022, at the Monnaie de Paris and was attended by 500 guests.

This award came as a recognition of Mr. Allavena’s accomplishments as a business leader and as a philanthropist, therefore serving the ideals that France upholds. His work as Chairman of Atlantys Investors, in partnership with Apollo Management as well as Honorary Chairman of the French American Foundation France, HEC Alumni and Foundation and Chairman of the Aspen Institute France, have been underlined.
