Ashley is the Communications and Media Coordinator for the Aspen Global Leadership Network (AGLN) at the Aspen Institute. In her role, she supports the Senior Marketing and Communications Manager for AGLN in producing strategic communication outputs, engaging a community of Fellows, as well as assisting with work in impact, development, and events as it relates to communications. This includes creating a wide breadth of content for print and digital, serving as the production assistant for AGLN’s LIMINAL podcast, and assisting with implementing communication and community engagement strategies.
Ashley has had a handful of jobs, ranging from the health field to the entertainment industry to media-facing roles in nonprofits. Most recently, she served as the Health Communications Specialist at La Clinica del Pueblo, where she helped develop and implement health literacy strategies, supported the design of health communication materials, oversaw video production, produced in-house videos and explored new social platforms and tools to further engage community members.
Ashley graduated from Towson University with bachelor degrees in both Exercise Science and Electronic Media and Film, having interest in using multimedia and authentic storytelling to provide intrigue, inspiration, and insight into a diverse range of topics that ultimately intersect such as public health, climate, culture, and humanities.
In her free time, she enjoys climbing, lifting, writing, photography, watching movies and listening to film scores. She also works part time as a climbing instructor and is fluent in both English and Spanish.
