Derrick Frazier is an associate director at the College Excellence Program, supporting the American Talent Initiative and Unlocking Opportunity.
Earlier in his career, Derrick served a variety of organizations that are committed to promoting educational equity and access, including Teach For America, the Winthrop Rockefeller Foundation, and Mott Philanthropic. He was a classroom teacher in a public middle school for three years, and additionally served as a management consultant for McKinsey & Company.
Derrick holds an M.S.Ed. from Johns Hopkins University; an M.P.A. in Nonprofit Administration and an M.A. in Philanthropic Studies from Indiana University; and a double B.A. from American University.
