Tyler Penfield is a strategic operations leader bringing a creativity and flexibility derived from almost 20 years of non-profit, arts, political and event management experience. In his role with AGLN, Tyler will oversee the planning, strategy, and execution for a number of AGLN events. Tyler will also oversee the planning of the 2025 Action Forum and will contribute to the Forum’s strategy, curate engaging programming, and ensure flawless execution. Weaving order from chaos, Tyler strives to provide operational expertise and strategic leadership to execute visionary ideas in even the most uncertain environments. Whether working as a live event producer and event manager for stage and film; political and press events; exhibitions and conferences; or special events, weddings, galas and dinners – Tyler brings an attention to detail, artistically driven design sensibility, and in-depth experience with all aspects of production and logistics coordination. As a non-profit manager and consultant, his diverse range of clients and work history has exposed him to various organizations in many fields and cemented his passion for creative problem-solving and strategic planning. Previously, Tyler has had the great opportunity to lead world-renowned artists on international and domestic tours; produced professional theater in the United Arab Emirates in a first-of-its-kind artistic endeavor (including building a pop-up theater on a beach!); has proudly served as an Advance Associate for the White House under two separate administrations, supporting trips domestically and abroad for all four principals; helped shape award-winning creative campaigns and virtual events for non-profit organizations; and worked at the heart of some of the most high-profile product launch events in Silicon Valley. He currently lives in Oakland, CA – but is a proud East Coaster who loves a cold winter.
