Leading Toward Justice: An Evening at the Resnick Aspen Action Forum In collaboration with NEW VIEWS Documentaries and Dialogue

Join us for the opening night of the Resnick Aspen Action Forum, a convening that asks entrepreneurial leaders from around the world to put their ideas for impact into action.  Focusing on The Arc of Justice, this three-part evening will begin with a reception featuring a rare and precious artifact, a handwritten copy of the 13th Amendment signed by President Abraham Lincoln. Enjoy wine and cheese while gazing at a document that changed the course of American history. Next, we will head into Paepcke Auditorium for an interview with the document’s owner, financier and philanthropist David Rubenstein in conversation with CNN’s Suzanne Malveaux. The evening will conclude with a screening of He Named Me Malala, an intimate portrait of Nobel Peace Prize Laureate and girls education advocate Malala Yousafzai. A panel with Fellows from the Aspen Global Leadership Network on the rights of women and girls will follow.

Wine reception, Mayer Patio, 5:00-6:00 pm Interview with David Rubenstein, Paepcke Auditorium, 6:00-7:00 pm Film screening, Paepcke Auditorium, 7:00 pm Panel immediately after the film.
