Library 2.016: Libraries of the Future

Library 2.016 is a worldwide virtual conference that will explore some of the key trends that point toward specific futures for libraries, and engage in conversations with civic, social, and education innovators to learn more about what they think about the future, and how libraries can become an integral part of their future visions.

The Aspen Institute’s Director of the Dialogue on Public Libraries Amy Garmer is a featured panelist. The School of Information at San Jose State University is the founding conference sponsor, and the event is being held in collaboration with ALA’s Center for the Future of Libraries.
