Our Piece of the Pie, Inc. (OPP) has the mission to help urban youth, ages 14-24, become successful adults. OPP weaves proven strategies and models in three fields — youth development, workforce development and education — into its Pathways to Success program where each youth is paired with a caring, consistent adult who serves as a mentor/life coach. With a mix of comprehensive educational and employment services, youth are able to redirect their lives and become economically self-sufficient adults. Pathways services incorporated into academic settings focus on helping over-age, under-credited (OU) youth graduate high school and offer continuing services through completion of post-secondary credentials and employment.
