As the year starts to wind up, we thought it a good time to take a look back at some of the highlights of a jam-packed summer and fall season at the Aspen Institute. In September, the Institute’s first television show made its debut and airs every Tuesday until November 20 on WORLD Channel. Gen. Stanley McChrystal, theater director Julie Taymor, former presidential candidate Governor Jon Huntsman, and many more filled our stages in Aspen this summer. And in a sample of our expanding work in New York, famed cellist Yo-Yo Ma helped us explore the role of the citizen artist. Watch these and more in this short snapshot of the Aspen Institute in 2012. (Also, don’t miss tonight’s live web cast of Gen. Colin Powell’s talk with Walter Isaacson.)
