One Day University for High School Students

The Aspen Institute’s Youth & Engagement Programs, One Day University, and College Summit, are partnering to bring D.C. metro area high school students One Day University for High School Students!
Several hundred D.C., Maryland, and Virginia metropolitan area (DMV) high school students will EXPERIENCE a college classroom, EXPLORE aspects of campus life, and CONNECT with resources to help get them to and through college. A morning of lectures delivered by university professors will be followed by a workshop led by College Summit, a nonprofit that works to place high school students across the nation on the path to college and career success.
Transportation to and from the venue and meals will be provided.
PROFESSORS:
- Anna Celenza – Georgetown University’s Thomas E. Caestecker Professor of Music
- Jeremi Suri – The University of Texas at Austin’s Mack Brown Distinguished Chair for Leadership in Global Affairs
- Louis Masur – Rutgers University’s Distinguished Professor, American Studies and History
