Dan Porterfield talks about moving ideas to action. He shares his excitement for the future of the Aspen Institute and briefly describes his previous work. Dan discusses our obligation to protect opportunities for serious dialogue. The Aspen Institute Board of Trustees named Daniel R. Porterfield, Ph.D., as the organization’s next president and CEO on November 30, 2017. Dan is president of Franklin & Marshall College. He will succeed Walter Isaacson, effective June 1, 2018.
