Since winning the inaugural Aspen Challenge: Los Angeles in 2013, Nick Davis has engaged Youth and Engagement Programs as an Aspen Challenge judge, coach, and speaker in Chicago and on the Aspen Ideas Festival stage. Now, Nick joins the Team as program coordinator for our annual youth convening.
A Posse Scholar studying computer science at Northwestern University, Nick is an alumnus of Westchester Enriched Sciences Magnets in Los Angeles, where his team won the first Aspen Challenge by building an aquaponics greenhouse on campus. Since his time in Aspen, Nick has worked on issues including social justice, sexual health and violence, and food deserts. Passionate about using youth voices to identify intersections of pressing societal issues and turning resulting conversations into action, Nick serves as a peer educator for the Obama Foundation, where he develops and facilitates programs to empower young people to drive change in their communities.
