Dr. Fred Sai, member of the Global Leaders Council and Chairman of the 1994 International Conference on Population and Development (ICPD) in Cairo, set the stage for the 47th Commission on Population and Development (CPD), during “High-Level Interactive Debate on the ICPD Beyond 2014 and Human Progress and Sustainability.” In his keynote address “The Vision of Cairo – A Perspective from the Past for the Future” Dr. Sai urged action and resolve in driving strong outcomes for reproductive health and development.
