Marisol is a sophomore at Rutgers University. Marisol is a Bard High School Early College graduate; in her time at Bard she obtained her Associates degree from Bard College. This is one way in which she shows her determination in getting ahead in her education. Marisol is also a Cooperman College Scholar, which is a four-year scholarship program that provides financial support and mentorship during the first two years of college. In her time at Rutgers- University she has participated in activities that bring people together to spark the discussion on topics on LGBT awareness, women rights and immigration. Marisol hopes to expand her horizons by educating herself on issues in society because she knows knowledge is the key to making a difference in the world. Marisol is passionate about helping people, educating others in important matters and plans to use her knowledge to navigate the world better. Along with that Marisol wants to be able to show others what they might not already know so that they can be changed agents. After graduating from college, Marisol intends to work in the medical field while tackling the social issues that that she’s most passionate about.
