Congratulations to Paul Hurley and his wife Jess for the birth of their daughter Katherine Louise Hurley on November 2, 2012. We look forward to meeting the newest member of the TripleCrown family!
John Danner has left Rocketship Education in the able hands of his co-Founder Preston Smith. John has started a new company to build the next generation of consumer online learning systems. He is excited to be solving the problems that have kept Rocketship from doing more online learning for the past few years, and making it much easier for teachers and parents to help their children learn online. John’s wife Allison was confirmed as a Superior Court Judge for the State of California, and was delighted to receive a new assignment at the Palo Alto courthouse, 5 minutes from their home.
In January Laurie Cammisa announced that she would be leaving her post at Children’s Hospital Boston after 23 years. She will be taking some time off and traveling to NYC, Italy, South Africa and a few other spots, and hopes to see a number of TripleCrowners along the way!
We hope all TripleCrowners have marked June 27-28 in their calendars for the 2013 reunion, which will be held at Buzz and Leslie Burlock’s place in Maine.
