The Economic Opportunities Program is proud to announce the second cohort of Job Quality Fellows for this year. While the economy continues to grow, too many jobs do not pay enough to help individuals and families make ends meet. This year’s fellows come from innovative nonprofits, businesses, and governments around the country that are taking on this challenge with diverse sets of approaches and solutions.
With support from Prudential Financial and Ford Foundation, the Job Quality Fellowship aims to support and strengthen the work of leaders dedicated to expanding access to and availability of better quality jobs in our economy.
“The changing economy means we need to work together to design a world of work that offers opportunities for prosperity and security for all working people,” said Maureen Conway, executive director of the Economic Opportunities Program. “We’re excited to be working with these extraordinary leaders and to see what they can learn from one another and accomplish by working together.”
Out of more than 100 applicants, the 2018-19 Job Quality Fellows are:
