Happy Earth Day! A Billion Acts of Green
This year, Earthday.org has taken on no small task: they’ve collaborated with Facebook to engage the globe in environmental action. With a nifty new Facebook app, users may share their “Act of Green” with friends. Earth Day hopes to hit the billion mark in advance of the June 2012 U.N Conference on Sustainable Development as tangible evidence that people worldwide are working to protect the Earth.
