On Tuesday the Center’s director, Erin Bailey, addressed the Interdepartmental Tribal Justice, Wellness and Safety Conference in Scottsdale, Arizona. Bailey spoke to over 200 representatives from federal agencies, tribes, social service program staff, and grantmaking organizations, among others, about the Center’s mission and initiatives, and about the many potential areas for all the different groups working to improve the lives of Native youth to work together.
Outreach about these opportunities for cooperation is a major goal for the Center, one we will continue to pursue through youth listening events, resource roundtables, online Resource Guide, and other avenues on our agenda.
