Today’s young people are moments away from being tomorrow’s decision-makers. The Aspen Challenge will tap their creativity and fresh perspectives by challenging them to collaborate and innovate solutions to some of the most critical and complicated problems we face.
The Aspen Challenge — launched with the Bezos Family Foundation — officially launches this Friday and Saturday, February 22 and 23, in Los Angeles at the California Science Center. The teams competing in the challenge will come from twenty schools within the Los Angeles Unified School District, which represents more than 800,000 students across the city. Plenty of resources are available now to guide you through the first Aspen Challenge.
Speakers: Throughout the event students will be challenged to design solutions by inspirational speakers and entrepreneurs who are working everyday on today’s tough issues. You can read bios of our speakers here and follow them on Twitter here.
Los Angeles: The first challenge is being held in LA this year. It will involve events nearly two months apart in LA and will culminate this summer at the Aspen Ideas Festival in Aspen, CO. Learn more about the events in LA here.
