Today the Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS) posted a grant opportunity for federally recognized tribal governments. CNCS is making an impact with Native youth through the programs. This is a great opportunity to continue and expand that work.
The grant is called: AmeriCorps Planning Grants and is intended “to support the development of AmeriCorps programs that will engage AmeriCorps members in evidence-based interventions to solve community problems.” The goal of the grant is to prepare grantees for the AmeriCorps program in the next cycle, creating competitive candidates.
