Aspen IFS convened a roundtable discussion at Aspen headquarters in Washington, DC to discuss the key recommendations as laid out in its recent report, Savings for Life, and the politics and prospects of advancing savings policy on Capitol Hill. Participants included Clive Crook of The Atlantic Monthly; David White, Chief Executive of the Children’s Mutual; Bill Bynum, CEO of the Enterprise Corporation of the Delta; Bernie Wilson, Vice President of H&R Block; various Congressional staffers; and other leaders from the financial services industry and nonprofit sector.
