we were happy, Cleo Wade
Meditation
“Ever since happiness heard your name, it has been/Running through the streets trying to find you.” There are pivotal moments in each of our lives where we were taught to subconsciously categorize the world around us. Some things are taught to be good, and some bad. Some things acceptable, some unacceptable. It takes hard work to acknowledge the walls we’ve built up, and to actively work to bring them down and allow happiness and acceptance to pass through. Who or what were your grounding influences that taught you about the world around you? Can you pinpoint any moments that you began to build walls? What does it take to break them down? What does the place look like where you are happy? Can you hear it calling your name?
