Words are Birds, Francisco X. Alarcon
Meditation
“Words are birds that arrive with books and spring.” We are constantly receiving messages from the world – messages of love, of frustration, of to-do lists, of news. As words and communications fly around us like a flock of birds, what do you see? Which of these words require care, feeding, and nurturing? Which words can take off and soar, and which need a nudge off the ledge? How often do you find yourself exposed to words from distant lands? Within yourself, which words do you cage?
