From March 23-26, 2010, investment funds, technical assistance providers, development agencies, and others actively engaged in unleashing the potential of small and growing business (SGBs) throughout Latin America came together for the first regional conference of the Aspen Network of Development Entrepreneurs (ANDE). Participants gathered in the colonial city of Granada in Nicaragua at the beautiful Hotel Granada Convention Center and Lake Resort for three days of interaction and exchange. Training sessions included social and impact investment management, communications, technical assistance, and advocacy strategies to promote SGBs. Participants had the opportunity to take part in workshops, roundtable discussions, and networking events to help share best practices and grow the sector.
This conference was organized by ANDE founding members Agora Partnerships, Root Capital, and TechnoServe.
