2017 Economic Security Summit – Reconnecting Work and Wealth: Constructing a New American Middle Class
The Economic Security Summit is an annual convening of the nation’s top leaders in industry, academia, philanthropy, government, and nonprofit organizations, to explore challenges facing American workers and families in today’s changing economy. Given the intertwined nature of household financial and employment challenges, leaders can no longer be content to focus on partial solutions or explore ideas in siloed discussions. The Summit brings together leaders from across sectors, disciplines, and political leanings to find common ground, make connections, deepen understanding, and explore solutions to the greatest financial and economic challenges facing American households today.
The Economic Security Summit is part of Reconnecting Work and Wealth, a joint initiative of the Economic Opportunities Program and the Financial Security Program at the Aspen Institute. The programs are grateful to the Prudential Foundation and the Ford Foundation for their support of this important work.
This event is invitation only.
