Action and Impact: Empowering Policy Changemakers
In conjunction with the official launch of the Aspen Policy Academy on October 22nd, the Policy Academy will be hosting Action and Impact, a multi-city event series on pressing policy topics. The first event in the Action and Impact series will take place in Washington, DC on October 22nd from 4-7:30pm at the Aspen Institute DC headquarters (2300 N St. NW). Join the Aspen Policy Academy’s inaugural event, featuring a panel on empowering policy changemakers with expert speakers including:
- Jemina Bernard, president of Teach For America
- Michael Chertoff, former US Secretary of Homeland Security.
- Tony Johnson, president and CEO of Truman National Security Project
The event will also feature policy proposal presentations from alumni and networking opportunities, and culminate with a celebratory reception. You can view the event schedule here. More speakers and presentations are being added weekly!
