Annual Independence Day Ceremony at the Houghton House Gardens and William Paca monument site.
Co-hosted with the Queen Anne’s County Historical Society. Featuring keynote speaker Pete Lesher, Chief Curator, Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum – “Liberty on Land and Water”. Event also includes wreath-laying ceremony at monument to William Paca, signer of the Declaration of Independence.
