Moderated Dinner and Dialogue on Artificial Intelligence, Democracy, and Power

As we approach the 2024 US election and beyond, we are once again at a critical inflection point where new technology is outpacing our current structures of democracy and power. These rapid technological shifts – further driven by the explosion of AI – present significant challenges, including the erosion of trust, widening inequalities, and further concentration of power, all of which threaten the resilience and integrity of our democratic institutions.

As leaders, what action must we take to create a future in which AI and technology have a positive impact on democracy? What does that future look like? How can we use AI and technology to reimagine institutions and incentive structures that enhance our ability to connect, collaborate, and govern effectively?

Join values-driven leaders across the AGLN community on October 15 in Washington DC for a moderated dinner and dialogue on how we can meet this moment with the leadership needed to drive positive technological futures.

This gathering is only open to AGLN Fellows. If you’re interested in attending, get in touch with a member of the AGLN team at agln.info@aspeninstitute.org.
