2015 Roundtable on Institutional Innovation
The inspiration for the Roundtable on Institutional Innovation stems largely from the writings of John Hagel and John Seely Brown, co-chairs of the Deloitte Center for the Edge, the senior sponsor. Its purpose is to engage senior executives to address (and where appropriate reframe) their approaches to institutional performance through innovation.
Our topic this year is “Making the Invisible Visible: Redesigning Business Practices for Exponential Operations.” In a world of rapid fluctuations, exponential change and global competition, successful organizations are redefining effective performance. Participants will examine new ways of thinking about business practice redesign, with the aim of becoming more adaptive and increasing performance of the firm. What does a well performing organization look like, and how does one measure for those characteristics? What kind of learning is important? How viable are some of the new principles for business practice redesign?
