The Aspen Young Leaders Fellowship (AYLF), a place-based, multi-site initiative that will develop the next generation of local, purpose-driven community leaders, is teaming up with FOCUS St. Louis to bring together 22 St. Louis area youth to work on solving critical issues facing the St. Louis region.

The first session of AYLF STL programming will convene Fellows over two days at the Barry-Wehmiller Leadership Institute in St. Louis. Fellows will unpack materials including The Declaration of Independence and Dr. King’s Letter From Birmingham City Jail. The St. Louis cohort of AYLF Fellows will meet over the next two years to build the skills necessary to engage effectively with their communities. The Fellowship will culminate with Fellows embarking upon social venture projects to solve critical issues in St. Louis.
