Digital Equity Accelerator Application Information Session
Globally, nearly three billion people remain offline. Despite increased innovation and expanded connectivity, gaps in digital access are growing between wealthier, more connected, groups and lower income, often marginalized, communities.
A multi-year effort led by Aspen Digital and powered by HP Inc., the Digital Equity Accelerator invests in not-for-profit organizations and NGOs actively addressing social and economic injustice in their communities resulting from unequal technology access and usage. Organizations from Malaysia, Mexico, and South Africa are invited to apply to the 2023 Accelerator cohort now through 23 January.
On 17 January, Aspen Digital hosted two information sessions to support potential applicants. These sessions:
- Showcased what participants in the Accelerator will receive and how they benefit
- Allowed organizations to ask questions about eligibility and the application process
- Provided the opportunity to hear about the 2022 cohort
The benefits of participating in the 2023 cohort include: a $100,000 USD capacity-building grant; another $100,000 USD worth of technology solutions provided by HP; and access to a robust network of international leaders, mentors, and coaches with expertise in technology, social innovation, non-profit management, and social impact. Additionally, the Accelerator will provide the cohort with opportunities for visibility on a global stage, including connections to local and international media.
