Join the Aspen Tech Policy Hub for an evening with founder and CEO of Actuate and former Director of Defense Advance Research Project Agency (DARPA). This event will also be the culmination of the Aspen Tech Policy Hub fellowship. Apart from being the Director of DARPA, Dr. Prabhakar is also the former head of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), as well as an engineer, an executive and a partner for an early stage venture capital firm. Dr. Prabhakar will be speaking on her perspectives on the intersection of technology, science and policy.
The Aspen Tech Policy Hub is a West Coast policy incubator, training a new generation of tech policy entrepreneurs. Modeled after tech incubators like Y Combinator, we take tech experts, teach them the policy process through an in-residence fellowship program in the Bay Area, and encourage them to develop outside-the-box solutions to society’s problems.
