The Aspen Institute Business and Society Program hosted the second First Movers Summit in Aspen, Colorado on February 27-March 2, 2014. This weekend event brought together Fellows from all six classes and more than 30 experts in the field of social entrepreneurship.

Featured speakers:
- Paul Dillinger (Head of Global Product Innovation, Levi Strauss & Co.; 2012 Fellow) told us the story of how a moral imperative inspired the creation of Dockers, Wellthread.
- Diana Simmons (Director New Product Commercialization, Clif Bar & Co.; 2011 Fellow) showed us how valuing people inside her organization helped to inspire teams to tackle huge challenges and create social change.
- Adrian Thomas (Vice President of Global Market Access, Global Commercial Strategy Operations and Global Public Health, Janssen; 2013 Fellow) reframed an opportunity and asked the question, “Would we stand up for public healthcare?”
