2013 Forum on Global Energy, Economy and Security
The Aspen Institute Forum on Global Energy, Economy, and Security is an annual invitation-only event. Spun off in 2005 from the Aspen Institute’s long-running Energy Policy Forum, the Forum offers a concentrated examination of international oil and gas markets and their relationship to economic and security issues. Now, the Global Forum invites about 70 US and international leaders, primarily from industry and government, for a dialogue around the complex and interconnected realms of energy, economy, and security. The 2013 Forum is titled “Responding to Change: The New World of Oil and Gas.” Bill White of Lazard and the Former Mayor of Houston and Deputy US Energy Secretary will be the chair.
