Hurst Lecture Series – Intelligence Squared U.S. Debate: The Recent U.S. Policy Towards China is Productive
In collaboration with the Aspen Strategy Group & Intelligence Squared
Based on the traditional Oxford-style debate format, with one side proposing and the other side opposing a sharply-framed motion, Intelligence Squared U.S. addresses a fundamental problem in America: the extreme polarization of our nation and our politics.
For the motion:
- Michael Pillsbury, Senior Fellow & Director for Chinese Strategy, Hudson Institute
- Kori Schake, Deputy Director-General, International Institute for Strategic Studies
Against the motion:
- Graham Allison, Douglas Dillon Professor of Government, Harvard Kennedy School
- Jake Sullivan, Former National Security Adviser to Vice Present Joe Biden
Moderated by ABC News correspondent John Donovan, the live audience will weigh in with interactive voting and deliver the verdict at the end of the debate.
