Innovations in Assessing Impact
The fall 2016 gathering for Leaders Forum members focused on innovations in assessing business and social/environmental impact. Members gathered for a discussion at Citigroup Center on the links between CSR, employee engagement, and firm value. Stories and case studies were shared over cocktails on what member companies have done to move the needle on employee engagement scores through their CSR and sustainability agendas. This was followed by a dinner discussion, led by Thomas Kamei, First Mover Fellow and Growth Team investor at Morgan Stanley Investment Management, on the corporate-investor conversation surrounding ESG investing.
The following day, Leaders Forum members gathered at the Johnson & Johnson Global Strategic Design Office. Discussions were focused on prototypes and initiatives designed to help companies make better investments based on measures of business and social/environmental impact, featuring stories from member companies Johnson & Johnson and Novartis.
