Tom McMillen‘s life has touched many facets to that question as a Rhodes Scholar, pro basketball player, US Olympian, congressman, co-chairman of the President’s Council on Physical Fitness and Sports, and president of the NCAA athletic directors association LEAD1. As sport continues to tackle big questions – the role of Congress and the US Olympic Committee in American sports; the FBI intervention into college basketball; the Supreme Court’s consideration of legalized sports gambling – Tom McMillen will offer insight into the complexities surrounding sports’ role to build leaders.
