Lauren Segal, President and CEO of Scholarship America, joins Aspen Wye Fellows on Thursday, April 11, 2013. Lauren Segal has, during her tenure as president of Scholarship America, successfully led the board and staff in a long-range strategic planning process to help students gain access to college and complete their degree programs. She is also the leading force behind Scholarship America’s national scholarship fund that has gained the support of a syndicated talk show host Katie Couric. Ms. Segal will discuss the big challenges increasingly facing students with today’s institutions for higher education. Scholarship America has given more than $2.7 billion to 1.8 million students.
