Featuring Dr. David Sinclair, professor of genetics at Harvard Medical School and author of “Lifespan: Why We Age—and Why We Don’t Have To” in conversation with John Driscoll, Senior Advisor at Walgreens Boots Alliance. Dr. Sinclair will explore the research that is pushing the boundaries of our perceived scientific limitations, revealing incredible breakthroughs that demonstrate how we can slow down, or even reverse, aging. He will also delve into emerging technologies and simple lifestyle changes that have been shown to help us live younger and healthier for longer.

David A. Sinclair, A.O., Ph.D. is Professor of Genetics at Harvard Medical School. At Harvard Medical School, Professor Sinclair heads a leading research lab best known for its work on why we age and how to control it. He has published over 180 papers that have been cited over 83,000 times and is the inventor on more than 50 patents. Professor Sinclair is a serial entrepreneur who has co-founded over a dozen successful companies including MetroBiotech, EdenRoc Sciences, and Life Biosciences. Professor Sinclair is a leading world authority on aging and longevity, and has been recognized as one of TIME magazine’s 100 Most Influential People In The World for his scientific research and Information Theory of Aging. Professor Sinclair is the New York Times bestselling author of “Lifespan: Why We Age-And Why We Don’t Have To” and host of the Lifespan podcast, which has peaked as the #1 Health & Fitness show on Apple Podcasts. Professor Sinclair and his work have been featured in media publications including Fortune, The Wall Street Journal, and The New York Times. He has received more than 40 awards for his research and scientific breakthroughs, including Innovator of the Year, the National Institutes of Health’s Pioneer Award, and appointment as an Officer of the Order of Australia for his work in scientific communication and national security. Professor Sinclair holds board seats on for-profit and non-profit organizations, and co-founded the scientific journal Aging as well as Fully Aligned Co, which works to democratize access to knowledge and tools to enhance mind and body wellbeing.
John Driscoll serves as a Senior Advisor at Walgreens Boots Alliance (WBA). He most recently served as Executive Vice President and President, U.S. Healthcare at Walgreens. John previously served as the CEO of CareCentrix, and led the turnaround, growth and the sale of the company to WBA. Under John’s leadership CareCentrix won every ‘great place to work’ competition it entered. Prior to Walgreens John served as President of Castlight (digital health), Group President of Medco (pharmacy benefit manager), Founder and Chair of Surescripts (e-perscribing infrastructure) and EVP of Oxford Health (managed care). John serves as Chair of the Waystar Corporation, a Senior Advisor to EQT and is an active investor in early stage healthcare companies. John serves on the board of Johns Hopkins Medicine, the Alliance for Hunger, Business Executives for National Security and chaired the Truman National Security Project. He was selected by the Obama White House for its Entrepreneurs in Residence program to work on innovation at the FDA.. John co-hosts the CareTalk podcast, a weekly program on the U.S. healthcare and business. Caretalk ranks as a top healthcare business podcast on YouTube and Apple. John has published commentary in numerous publications including the Los Angeles Times, Time Magazine, The Guardian and Politico. John has B.A and M.B.A degrees from Harvard University as well as an MPhil from Cambridge University.
