PNB Global Chapters Meeting
On December 2nd, under the leadership of PNB Turkey, representatives from every PNB country gathered in Istanbul for the 2nd PNB Summit. The participants gathered to compare notes on past work, talk about their future plans and explore potential opportunities for collaboration. The participants ranged from entrepreneurs to educators, and came from NGOs, small firms and multinational companies. All in all, some 150 people from over 10 different countries took part in the conference.
Mr. Rifat Hisarciklioglu welcomed the delegates to the conference by emphasizing that PNB can be a tool to increase partnership and unity throughout the world. “We need to make a new beginning and approach each other as partners in order to achieve world peace and stability. It is crucial for the welfare of all societies to construct a global structure based on trust and prosperity instead of on security and threat. For a prosperous tomorrow, we must construct axis of stability, not of evil,” he said.
The Partners for a New Beginning Global Chapters Meeting will be held on Friday, December 2nd in Istanbul, Turkey and will be hosted by the Chair of PNB Turkey, and President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey, Mr. Rifat Hisarciklioglu.
