The Council of Women World Leaders hosts From Princess to President: Today’s Girls, Tomorrow’s Leaders, The Implications of Princess Culture on the Creation of the Next Generation of Women Leaders. Author Peggy Orenstein’s bestselling book Cinderella Ate My Daughter explores how the profusion of princesses in American culture results in troubling rates of early sexualization, narcissism, and insecurities among young girls. From Princess to President – a dynamic discussion about the impact of princess culture on girls and the implications that it may have on their development of leadership qualities.
