POSTPONED: Roundtable Discussion on the Georgetown-Palestine Center for Continuing Medical Education

This event will be rescheduled.

Panelists will include Dr. Howard Federoff, M.D., Ph.D., Executive Vice President for Health Sciences and Executive Dean, Georgetown University School of Medicine and Dr. Ziad Asali, M.D., Chairman, American Charities for Palestine

The Aspen Institute will convene a roundtable discussion on the subject of the Georgetown-Palestine Center for Continuing Medical Education (CCME). The CCME program is expected to result in a Palestinian physician community in highly demanded specialty lines whose skills have been significantly enhanced. Those doctors will be capable of delivering the highest quality medical care to the Palestinian people—which is expected to be a major incentive to remain inside Palestine—and contribute to the economic, medical, and educational development of the state.

The U.S.-Palestinian Partnership (UPP) fosters partnership between American and Palestinian public, private and nonprofit stakeholders by implementing income-generating projects and encouraging business investment and entrepreneurship in the West Bank.

By invitation only.
